If you've ever met me or know anything about me then you probably know that Hawaiian hula is a gigantic part of my life and my growth. I've been dancing hula since I was a small child I studied the culture, I have family and generations in the islands, it is the reason why I pursue art and in many ways it is also my church. I have been a part of Hula Halau Keali'i O Nalani for almost 20 years and we are having our 25th anniversary at the Japanese American theater in Little Tokyo. We are performing with the world renowned singer and musician and Hawaiian extraordinaire Kuana. I am so honored and humbled to be dancing with my Ohana and such amazing talent.
